Hi Robert, Thank you very much for your reply on such short notice. I thought it's just me that i'm crazy seeing these things like this. Luckily the other participants don't want same logo sizes as Orange so that there would be no more room for the event itself (if they all could fit into the paper size). People would buy tickets to see those companies and watch their logos instead of an event and the performers. Maybe there should be such notice in the manuals like: "This is applicable for company's promotional materials." And leave some room for fairness regarding other materials. My client wanted them to be pleased. I just thought it's far too much. Thanks once again. And since this isn't just there poster, then there 'guidelines' are really not in effect as far as logo size and positioning. r Rob Bennett Lead-Strategic Design / Deutsche Asset Management 1 South Street, MSBAL01-1808 / Baltimore, Maryland 21202 Voice: 410.895.3804 / Fax: 410.895.3413 / Mobile: 410.258.2543 "Florin Florea" <email protected> 06/08/04 09:59 AM Please respond to "List: Wireality" To: "List: Wireality" <email protected> cc: Subject: [WIREALITY] Orange Identity usage problem - Help Hi everyone,
I have to design a poster for an event that is sponsored by different companies. One of them is ORANGE. When we asked for the logo they said that the logo should be in the right bottom corner at a half logo square from the margins. This would be away from the other sponsors but that may not be a problem except they said the size of the logo square for a poster of 50 x 70 cm is at 4-5 cm square. My poster will be 100 x 70 cm that makes the square logo even bigger at 7.5 cm. This will make the logo bigger then the headline of the event itself. First they requested 20 x 20 cm for the plasement of their logo. It looks strange for me. This is not a promotional poster for this company but an event in which Orange is part of the sponsoring beside others. There are a lot of things going on in this event that i have to put in this poster. Everything is so small because of it. Do you think this is a good way of applying the rules? Are the rules so or the guys there can't read the manual? Did someone had a similar problem? Does anybody have an Orange manual?
